The Hero of Minecraftia

Israbelle picked up the bloody arrow and sighed. She whipped it on the cool grass and grabbed her bow, swinging it over her head and across her chest. Izzy looked over to the hero who was now on his feet. She looked down ashamed and kicked at the ground.
“Who are you?” the hero asked again a little more calmly but all the more curious. Izzy looked up to him and sighed, “If I told you, well, I don’t think you would want me around,”
“Why would I think that?” the hero questioned, “you just shot me with an arrow then helped me back up! Why wouldn’t I want you around? Where are you from?” Israbelle hesitated for a bit but soon spook up, “I’m from Minecraftia, the place where you should be! Why are you here?” The hero was taken aback; he starred at her more deeply and griped his shoulder harder. “Did you say, Minecraftia?” he asked quietly, Izzy nodded in reply.
The hero didn’t move for a minute, he thought about this strange girl from Minecraftia he hadn’t seen before and how she had made her way through the portal. Gazing at her features once more, the hero asked the questioned he swore he had asked ten times. “Who are you? How did you get here?” Izzy hesitated again but then answered,
“My name is Israbelle,” with that the hero finally clicked and started to put the pieces together. Her crimson red eyes, a coat identical to the pale faced man, her bow skills and that fact her name had ‘Isra’ in it only reminded the hero of one thing; Israphel. He looked at her shocked in realization and took a few steps back. Izzy noted this and quickly spoke up in her defense, “I’m not like him! I’m not even related to him really!”
“Then what are you then?” he demanded. Israbelle took a deep breathe in to calm herself as she hated it when people jumped to conclusions and thought she was Israphel’s daughter or something. Izzy never had told anyone fully about her true self; that was because the last time she tried she got a reaction worse than the heroes, much worse.
“Do you remember when your friend cloned himself? And the clones were evil?” she started. The hero nodded slowly, not knowing how she even knew that information. “Well,” she continued, “When he cloned himself, the cloning machines were complete and had no bugs, making minions to Israphel’s disposal” the hero could kind of see where his was going as she continued, “Well; I am what Israphel liked to call, a failed clone, of himself.” Israbelle closed her eyes and looked down expecting for him to lunge at her like people in the pass had done. She opened one eye and looked to find he hadn’t moved.
“How are you a failed clone?” he asked after a period of silence. Israbelle then went on to explain her story to the hero. She told him of the first prototype cloning machine Israphel had devolved and how it malfunctioned. How she was meant to be Israphel’s loyal killer but had the wrong heart to do so. She then went on to explain how she escaped the nether and has spent her time since alone wondering around Minecraftia like a lost traveler. Izzy then explained how she had heard rumors of two heroes in Minecraftia and how she tried to peruse them but then they disappeared.
“I never actually heard your names,” she stated, “Whenever I tried to talk to someone my appearance would put them off.” The hero took in the information and nodded when she finished. “Ok,” he said still a bit bewildered, “but now did you end up here?”
“When I was watching you guys fight Israphel, I saw Zombie Boss head into the forest by Icaria,” Izzy started, “I followed him and he led me to a green portal and I thought it was Israphel’s, but, I guess it wasn’t.”
“What! Zombie Boss! Are you sure?!” the hero exclaimed,
“Yeah, I’m sure it was him. Why?” she asked,
“Don’t worry about it, but we’ll have to find him.” Silence fell over them as they thought about the mutant zombie wondering around the world.
“But why are you here?” Izzy asked, “Shouldn’t you be in Minecraftia?”
“Honeydew and I decided to stay here and the others in Minecraftia said it was ok even though we feel kind of bad,”
“Honeydew?” she questioned, “is that your ginger dwarf friend?”
“Yeah,” he replied,
“And what’s your name,” she asked hoping to finally get an answer. The hero smiled at her and replied, “My name is Xephos. I’m guessing you’ve be trying to find that out for a while now,”
“You don’t know how long!” she said so relieved to hear their names.
“Sorry for shooting you by the way, I just did the first thing I thought of,”
“It’s ok, it’s not that deep,” he said taking his hand off his shoulder to examine the wound before putting pressure on it again. “Also, um, Xephos?” Israbelle asked, “Did you kill Israphel?” Xephos looked to her, worried that she might be a slightly upset, “Yes, we did.” Izzy nodded and looked at the ground, “Sorry,” he said noting this.
“Nah its ok, he was a jerk anyway,” she said looking up and smiling.
Xephos turned to look at the house then back to Izzy. “Ok, I’m going to head back now.” Israbelle watched as he walked back, his hand still on his shoulder. She felt quite guilty as she hadn’t intended to do any damage.
Xephos then stopped then turned back to Izzy who didn’t really know where to go next. “Well, aren’t you coming?” he asked as if she was supposed to know she was meant to go. “Really?” she asked confused, “you want me to go with you?” Xephos shrugged his shoulders,
“Why not? You’re stuck in this world now and we might as well explain a few things to you.” Izzy smiled and ran up to walk at his side, a bit curious to what he had to share.
